The Broken News Season 2 plot revolves around a girl who fights for her justice when the culprits try to escape using their political powers and wealth. Amina Qureshi as (Sonali Bendre) is a journalist working with Awaaz Bharati, in a news channel that practices ethical journalism. She is in competition with Dipankar Sanyal (Jaideep Ahlawat) of Josh 24/7, a news channel known for its sensational journalism. As the two compete for screen space and time, they leave behind a trail of drama and comedy.

This show is an adaptation of the 2018 British series Press. It also marks Bendre’s OTT debut.
